I have a new title!!

This is really some of the most exciting news I've recieved in a long time. A couple of weeks ago I was heading off to bed, but I saw that my email was rather full. This isn't just my regular email either. This is my professional and academic email. So, I open it expecting to just delete the newsletters and emails full of deals on my professional subscriptions when I notice one that's actually written to me and not just a bulk email. I couldn't believe it. It was from an online creative writing magazine telling me they wanted to publish my story. In August of this year, I can tell people I'm a published author.

Okay. So, it's not a big magazine. The acceptance rate for pieces is pretty high. But I couldn't be any happier about it. This is just the first step right? To me, this is just the first of many to come. We'll see how things turn out and I'll be posting the story as soon as I get a link to it.

But as far as I'm concerened, this is a great start and a huge accomplishment.
