Job Searching

It's already been a month since I graduated from Full Sail and as I search through job post after job post, it's pretty clear to me that I somehow have to acquire experience in everything except novel writing. I guess I can understand that, but what good does that do me. If it's not that, then it's the fact I have an associate's degree and not a bachelors. I can probably still compete for the job without the bachelors, although I do plan on getting that one as well, but it comes back to the experience that everyone wants. So let's say you find internship that pays, is full-time, and gives you the experience. Most of those are short term, like 6 weeks. Your best bet may be unpaid internship, but that's not an option for me. I still have two children to take care of and all the bills.

There has come another idea amongst a couple other students. One of them mentioned that she considered starting a publishing company. I said that I had thought about that at one point. Then, another classmate said she wanted in and now suddenly the three of us are researching the requirements of a publishing company. I'm not sure what can become of this, but it is something I'm considering putting a lot of time into. I'm just not sure how serious they're taking it. They are also still in school, so I guess I could be leading the charge a little. I think it's going to come down to finances on why we never get started. But we'll see. There's always that chance that something good comes from this.

Not to go into a whole mess of detail; I would like to say that things with my streaming crew have gotten so great. I realized Vada has way more talent and charisma than me, so I think I'm just going to help her and her stream. I'll still have mine, but she's having way more success than me and totally deserves it. I figure that I could use my talent and new skills from school to help her and her stream. It's really the least I could do for the fun and friendship she's brought me.

Lastly, you may have listened to the last podcast and now you're curious as to why I havent released another. Honestly, it's not easy getting the guys together, it's not easy making opposing schedules work, and it's extremely difficult to get the kids to shut up. Kidding; not kidding.
